Account Deletion

You can delete your KiT-PaT account and personal data at any time.

From the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.

From here on the web: [Request account deletion] — sign in and confirm, or email support@kitpat.in from your registered email with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify it's you before deleting.

What gets deleted: your personal profile — your name, mobile number, contact details, and the data that identifies you.

What may be kept, and why: entries you recorded in a group's shared kitty ledger may be retained as part of that group's financial records in a de-identified form, so the group's totals still reconcile after you leave. We may also keep limited data where the law requires or to prevent fraud and abuse. We keep only what is necessary, for no longer than needed.

How long it takes: we complete deletion within [30] days of verifying your request and confirm by email.
